The Jaxyn Hole On the Guadalupe River

This has become a hot spot as a small camping community to fish, swim, kayak, sit by the fire in the evenings, watch the deer, visit with friends and family. It’s a great place to enjoy the outdoors. This 3/2 is a cabin and that can accommodate 8 comfortably. The TJH is located 2 miles off the main road on a caliche road, along the banks of the Guadalupe River between Lake McQueeney and Lake Dunlap. *All cabins are sterilized as per regulations and Airbnb guidelines. The space The Jaxyn Hole is nestled along the Guadalupe River. TJH is a 3/2 cabin located two miles off the main road. The master has a comfortable California King bed, with an awesome spacious walk-in shower. The 2nd bedroom offers a wonderful tempurpedic queen. The 3rd bedroom also has a wonderful tempurpedic queen. A sleeper-sofa is available in the living area for additional guest. The cabin has a full kitchen with other amenities including a dining area, reading area, with a full washer and dryer. For your convenience, we provide: a wood/charcoal grill and a fire pit at the cabin for your private use. Our common area along the back side of the property is 200’ of waterfront where all guests are able to access getting in and out of the river or just hang out. Included in the common area is a fire pit and a wood/charcoal grill. Guests provide their own charcoal or wood. There is a gazebo equipped with table and chairs available. There is plenty of space to bring your own canopy and setup under the trees for day camping. Try your luck at fishing, feed the ducks, deer, and other wildlife. BRING deer corn (optional), towels for the river, chairs, canopy's, yard games, ice, fishing poles, floats, tubes, or kayaks. Kayaks on the property maybe used based upon availability. Please note the safest part of the river is going west up the river towards Lake Dunlap or if you are an experienced kayaker, head east down the river through the rapids which will drop you into Lake McQueeney. Or simply lay back and take in the serenity! Guest access Guests will have shared access to 200' of waterfront of the Guadalupe River. All guests get in and out of the water from the same area! March-August is our peak season therefore weekends have the potential to be busy. If your group isn’t comfortable with sharing the space on the river this may not be the place for you! Other things to note I am currently experiencing growing pains and new demands. While this is very exciting, I have chosen to bring on board additional help. Amenities available in the surrounding areas: Minutes from Hueber Airpark, New Braunfels Airport, Gruene Historical District, Schlitterbahn Water Park, Landa Park, The Braun Theatre, Golfing, and many restaurants in New Braunfels or Seguin. Within driving distance to San Antonio and all of the wonderful attractions like the Theatrical District, Fiesta Texas, and Sea World. Surface leading to the house is caliche then leads off onto a private dirt road. With rain and pipeline construction currently in operation the roads can become a challenge! Since the home is on the river there is always a risk for evacuation. Be mindful of the weather conditions! Remember safety first! July and August is the hottest and driest time of the year therefore our river bank will reflect the heat though there is great shade through out the day!
