Rental unit in Providence
Description
Our one-bedroom apartment is plenty spacious for two people and a cozy stay for more than two. It's a stone's throw away from Hope Village, where there is plenty of charm, shopping, and great food. We are less than a mile from Brown and RISD. The apartment has its own private entrance. There is no parking on the premises, however, there is plenty of free street parking, very often right in front of the house. The space This is one of our favorite areas of our turn-of-the-century house. It's a great little getaway up there with lots of light and an open feel. There is one bedroom with a king-sized Tempur-Pedic mattress, which is very comfortable. There is room to store your things in the bedroom closet and a small dresser. There is a double hot plate, a toaster/convection oven, and a microwave, and an apartment-sized refrigerator. There is also a Keurig stocked with coffees and teas. One thing to note is that the apartment is on the 3rd floor, so unfortunately, it is not accessible to those in a wheelchair or who have difficulties with stairs. We want you to feel at home during your stay Guest access Guests will be given a code to enter the front entrance with a keyless locking system. The entrance is private and through the front only. Emergency exit is certainly available through the back entrance as well, but our family uses that stairwell to get between the first and second floors, so please don't use it unless it's an absolute emergency. Other things to note Providence (PVD), dubbed the "creative capital," has something for everyone. There are art galleries, history, architecture, and beautiful outdoor spaces. You can attend theater productions at the Trinity, The Gamm theater, Providence Performing Arts Center, known as PPAC, or at many of the other theaters all around the state. You can catch live music all over the city on any given night, as well as happen upon events such as PVD Fest, Porchfest (of which the bands we are in play), or the magical Waterfires. There is plenty of shopping, with many shops right in our own neighborhood. Or if you want to go downtown or to the West End, there are mom-and-pops all over, as well as the Providence Mall. Or go back in time to The Arcade, the oldest shopping mall in the US. The amazing restaurants in PVD are too numerous to list, many of which have topped national and international lists for foodies. If you want to venture out of Providence, our state offers endless opportunities for exploring, through nature, activities, history, and culture. Registration Details RE.05892-STR
