Midtown Haven is in a quiet area with easy access to just about everything in Bend. The home has off-street parking. Walk to Bend’s prospering downtown, amble along the Deschutes River or up Pilot Butte. Old Mill, college and medical center are minutes drive. Easy access to outdoor activities. I'm happy to provide pastries and coffee/tea when you stay, I do ask that you let me know you want this light breakfast. The space The home is quiet and relaxing. Your guest area of bedroom and ensuite bathroom, is within my home. The area has a comfortable queen bed with a tv you can connect to your computer, internet access, and room to sit back, relax and have a cup of tea or glass of wine in privacy. In addition, there is a private, luxurious bathroom adjacent to your bedroom. In your room, find a shelf of brochures and maps of the area. While in the common areas you can see the view of the mountains. The back deck allows a place to relax and read or visit. I honor occasional requests to use of my kitchen for you to prepare an occasional light meal or heat up take out meals. Guest access Guests have access to their guest area including the attached private bathroom, common areas of the kitchen, dining area and decks. You may access the house through the front or side doors accessible from the front entrance steps. During your stay I am available upon arrival and over your light breakfast for consultation about visiting the area's activities. I am in and out and will do what I can to help you enjoy your stay. One of the things I love about hosting is meeting and visiting with my guests. I also am aware of your need for privacy and no interaction! Other things to note Central Oregon is noted for easy access to numerous outdoor activities, its shopping, arts, and cultural events. Bend itself is a hub of micro-breweries, and Deschutes Brewery, Bend Brewery, Silver Moon, and Boneyard are within walking distance. Other breweries are minutes away by car. Downtown, with a variety of shops and restaurants is also a 15-20 walk. A less than 10 minute walk will get you to Los Jalapeños for Mexican food, Croutons for soups, salads and sandwiches, Back Porch Coffee Roasters, Rockin Dave's Bagel Bistro, Burrito Hooch, three grocery stores for your picnic fixings, banks and gas. Juniper Swim and Fitness Recreation Center is a five minute walk. This public center is open to visitors for modest fee, and has an outdoor and an indoor pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, workout rooms, and classes. Bend has quilt stores and nearby Sisters Quilt Shop is famous. Check for activities in the upcoming weeks.
