Rental unit in Cave Spring

A cozy apartment that is a perfect place to relax. Enjoy wildlife watching and star gazing. Just minutes away is quaint Cave Spring, with antique shops and restaurants. Enjoy walking, fishing, kayaking, biking, and hiking. Bring your gear and go! This space is adjacent to our residence. Generally, we do not see guests unless they want to interact. The space is open and has a lot of natural light. Bring a mask if you are a light sleeper. We live on a gravel drive, it is easy to navigate! The space THERE ARE STAIRS TO CLIMB TO GET TO THE APARTMENT. PLEASE NOTE. An open comfortable apartment in the country on 35 acres. Two full beds with linens and bath towels provided. (Twin air mattresses are available upon request). Cooking utensils and pans, flatware, dishes, and glassware are provided for your convenience in the kitchen. We also have a microwave, double burner, large toaster oven, griddle, crockpot, blender, waffle iron, coffee maker, and full-size refrigerator with freezer. We have a coffee bar with a French press and a coffee pot with all the coffee and supplies for a perfect cup in the morning. We also provide a variety of teas for hot tea. We have a small selection of games and books for our guests to enjoy along with satellite tv. We have Wifi. A charcoal grill is available. We also have a small fire pit with wood. Enjoy walking, fishing, kayaking, biking, and hiking. The Pinhoti Trail runs through Cave Spring and the Silver Comet Trail is 20 minutes away in Cedartown. In Cave Spring, tour the cave from which the town gets its name or swim in the freshwater pool in the shape of the state of Georgia. Cedar Creek Outfitters, just across the highway from our property rents kayaks for day trips on Cedar Creek. There is great fishing at the Lock and Dam Park on the Coosa River, 15 minutes away. Bring your gear and go! We are less than an hour away from Little River Canyon in Alabama. It is worth the drive to see the canyon and the visitors center. We are 15 minutes from Rome with a vibrant downtown, featuring great shops and restaurants; Berry College, Mt. Berry Mall, Berry Tennis Center, Shorter University, and the Rome Braves State Mutual Stadium. We are only 15 minutes from Cedartown. We are in the middle of the ABC triangle. Chattanooga is one hour drive away, Atlanta an hour and a half away, and Birmingham two hours away. We can make recommendations if you are at a loss for activities. Better yet just laze the day away at the farm! -We are pet friendly but know this is Petey’s place. He is our unofficial super host greeter. He lives with us and roams around. He is a boxer mix. If your pet can’t handle another dog don’t bring it. The property is suitable for SOME pets but they must be individually approved, and a $15 per pet per day fee is required. There is an additional cleaning fee as well of $20. You can send via the send money icon and note it is a trip related cost. Any guest who brings a pet without express permission will be asked to leave without a refund for the stay. Here are the minimum requirements: Current rabies tag. Current flea medication such as Frontline, Advantage, etc. Housebroken and/or crated. Non-barking. Will not dig in flowers. Will not lay on furniture or bed. Will not scratch/chew doors, floors, and furniture. Owner agrees to clean up all pet waste. If the apartment is booked check out our Red Barn. Guest access A car is required. Our drive is 4/10ths of a mile long and unpaved (we are in the country). I drive up and down daily in a small car. Slow steady speed all the way up is the key.
