It is newly renovated, located in the middle of Amish country, and surrounded by farmland. You'll be close to all the local attractions (just outside of the town of Intercourse) but off the beaten path enough to really experience the beauty of the country. It's furnished with simple Amish style decor and comes with a fully stocked kitchen. Continued below... This home is furnished with three king-size bedrooms, two full baths (one with an ADA accessible shower) and a full kitchen. PLEASE NOTE: There is a separate unit with its own private entrance in the basement that is sometimes rented to tenants, but everything pictured in the listing is solely yours for your stay. There are no shared spaces. As for location, this home is in the perfect spot. From your living room window you'll have a spectacular view of the surrounding farms, and countryside. You're located on a typical Lancaster County backroad but less than a mile drive will have you in the small town of Intercourse where you'll find lots of small shops including Kitchen Kettle Village, Stoltzfus Meats, and Smucker Village. Or you may want to stop by BikeWorks (a local bike rental company) where you can book bike tours or just rent a bike for a leisurely ride through Amish country. In the summer months several authentic Amish roadside stands selling fresh produce can be found a short drive away as well. And our favorite recommendation for summer months is ice cream at nearby Lapp Valley Farm- a working farm with a shop selling fresh milk, cheeses, and ice cream. Besides being in the middle of Amish Country, you'll also be 15 minutes from Dutch Wonderland, the outlets, and restaurants along Route 30. Other nearby attractions include Sight and Sound Theatre, Shady Maple Smorgasbord, and downtown Lancaster, so whether you are looking for rest and relaxation or shopping and adventure you can find it here. You have access to the entire property, yard, and home with the exception of the separate basement apartment that has a private entrance in the back. We live nearby and will be available should you have questions during your stay. This is a quiet neighborhood on a typical Lancaster County backroad. A car is definitely recommended to fully experience the beauty and backroads of Lancaster County.
