It was completely refurbished by its current owners in 2008. It is an old walled estate, situated on 114 acres, with 55 stables and 2 gallops. It consists of 3 floors, 8 ensuite bedrooms, four reception rooms, a large country style kitchen and a working national hunt yard. It is located on the outskirts of Rathkeale town and is a 10 minute drive to the pretty village of Adare and a 20 minute drive to Limerick city. Both Shannon and Kerry Airports are a 45 minute drive, and the car ferry at Tarbert (Co. Kerry) - which crosses on a half hourly basis to Co. Clare, home of Irish traditional music, the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren - is only 30 minutes away. It is also part of the route of the beautiful Wild Atlantic Way. Guest access Guests have access to their bedroom, the billiards room, a private television room and the grounds of Beechmount House and stables. During your stay It is our pleasure to welcome our guests and assist them in whatever way we can Other things to note The stable yard is directly outside the back door of the house, and horses will be out of their stables for most of the morning. In addition to the horses, there are four quiet and friendly dogs. This is a peaceful, relaxing and private place that is a comfortable family home, with plenty outside space for exploring. It is a five minute walk from the town of Rathkeale.
