The Beach Front Cottage @ The Calabash House

Nestled in Treasure Beach on the South Coast of Jamaica, Calabash House is an intimate vacation destination featuring lots of extras. The House & Cottages are located directly on the Caribbean Sea. Our guests enjoy the best swimming beach in the area. Older locals refer to our location as "the sweetest little corner in Treasure Beach" and we think you will agree! Calabash House is 5 to 7 minute walk to local restaurants and bars. Treasure Beach is local community based tourism destination. The space THE BEACH FRONT COTTAGE is a little slice of heaven, nestled among the fragrant flowers and only steps away from the Caribbean. With queen bed, covered veranda, and hammock, this is a fabulous place to relax at an amazingly reasonable rate. The cottage has its own bathroom ( toilet & sink), but shares an outdoor shower with the other cottages. The outdoor shower has HOT water. The cottage has it's own private entrance and veranda. There is also a digital safe which is perfect for your passport and extra cash. Guests have the option of dining on property with meals prepared by Suzett, our wonderful cook. For a reasonable price, she will shop for you and make you the most mouth watering, fresh breakfasts and dinners. Breakfast is $12 usd per person. Breakfast includes coffee, fresh fruit, fresh juice, and the main course (American or Jamaican) Dinners range from $15-Chicken, pork or beef $18 -Fish, & $20 for Lobster. Food in Jamaica is the best in the Caribbean, with local caught seafood and jerk specialties being among the favorites. Please inquire when making a reservation. Guest access Guests have access to the common areas: living room, kitchen, inside & outside dining area, front and back veranda, outdoor kitchenette, outdoor gardens, beach gazebo and the beach. Other things to note -Each room in the Main Guest house offers A/C, but it is an ADDITIONAL CHARGE. $10 per day charge that you pay at the time of your stay. Cottages do not have A/C. -Each room & cottage has an in room digital safe for your use.
