Our riverside annexe is located on the banks of the River Severn in Atcham on the outskirts of Shrewsbury. This delightful bungalow has its own entrance and shares the driveway with the adjacent main house Keepers Cottage. The annexe is one of 3 accommodations on the site. There is also the main house and a studio flat above the garage which are listed separately and therefore may be occupied by other guests. The space The annexe is a spacious bungalow and perfect for a short break. It offers self-contained accommodation for a group of 4 with 2 bedrooms - Superking (or twin) and a Twin. For a small fee we can accept additional guests on the sofabed in the lounge which can accommodate 1 adult or two small children. There is a large open plan living/dining room with log burner and a fully equipped kitchen and a large bathroom with bath and shower. In the kitchen, there is a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven and hob. A travel cot and high chair are available on request and must be requested in advance. The annexe is centrally heated and there are logs supplied for the log burner. There is free WiFi. Tea, coffee and basics such as washing up liquid & toiletries etc are provided. There is a beautifully maintained garden with the River Severn running along the back of the garden. You can admire the far-reaching views of unspoilt countryside from the rear patio where there is a garden table and chairs. Guest access There are 3 accommodations sharing the driveway and garden so please be respectful of others. This is a strictly no smoking property. Other things to note The general public have access to the Severn Way at the bottom of the garden so you may see other hikers passing occasionally. Maximum 2 well behaved dogs are allowed for a small fee which should be booked and paid for with the initial booking. Dogs are strictly not allowed on the furniture. There is no fencing between the garden and the river so dogs and young children should be supervised at all times. This is a strictly no smoking property. You are near to wild life habitats. You may encounter insects, field mice, bats and other creatures sharing our countryside location.
