High desert sanctuary. Relax, dream, write, walk, hike throughout our quiet "village" or many trails. No gas stations, billboards. just the sky, hills and pinyon trees, cactus. rocks. rabbits and other furry friends. Top quality a/c and heating unit. we are approximately 15 degrees cooler than Palm Desert below Please Follow all house rules: Guests are expected to adhere to the host's established rules located in the listings Airbnb house rules = booking agreement and are legally binding. The space We are new and we want to create the best experience, so we have lowered the price for early guests, as compared to local/similar digs. Out goal is to make you happy and enjoy your stay; if there is anything you would like that we haven't thought to provide, please let us know. On the other hand, if there are features we should be highlighting for our guests' enjoyment, please let us know! Guest access You'll enjoy the full cabin (small kitchen, separate sleeping area with two comfortable twin beds that fit seamlessly together into a king if you prefer) and small "tool/game " room (store your bikes?). Coffee, teas, cereal, milk and; emergency packet of spaghetti and jar of marinara . (no restaurants, stores, gas stations, or convenience stores nearby so you'll want to get provisions ahead of time). Strong wiifii Bathroom is tiled and large, includes a washing machine. You can dry your clothes on the new line outside so they'll be treated to the fast-drying, aromatic desert air. Barbeque a nice. meal on our new propane bbq outside your front door. Bike around the quiet streets of our "small village" (this would be your bike though I have an old touring bike you can use at your own risk:) or journey out further to some secluded and lovely trails. The unique and fascinating Living Desert zoo is just below on the way to Palm Desert. Plenty of wine bars, spas, great restaurants walks and hikes in Palm Desert below and Idylwild above, Other things to note Nature all aroound, so no markets, convenience stores, gas stations, restaurants; "provison up" on your way in (Palm Desert?). Of course there are a variety of lovely and well reviewed restaurants "above" in Idylwild if you go exploring there, and Palm Desert. There's an on-site "caretaker" (in a separate cabin) to welcome you and for emergencies,
