Welcome to your charming and spacious home away from home! This newly renovated 1920s house is on a quiet and friendly neighborhood street and is a short walk to Main Street Frostburg, The Great Allegheny Passage (GAP trail), and Frostburg State University. The space This beautiful 3 bedroom home has modern furnishings and conveniences including comfortable new beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and new washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make a lovely meal and enjoy it at the large dining room table or relax at the kitchen table with a cup of tea or coffee made in the Keurig, coffee pot, or French Press. We set up the house to maximize your comfort. The living room and primary bedroom feature new smart TVs. Spend an afternoon on the front porch reading a book or playing a board game. We also provide a comfortable work space and the wireless mesh network has you covered with throughout the house. The washer and dryer are new and we provide all the essentials like towels, linens, and laundry soap. Your home away from home is great for couples, families, and adventurers. Many of our guests are coming to visit students at Frostburg State (0.5 miles), bike the Great Allegheny Passage (1 mile), hike in one of our beautiful nearby state parks, or explore Frostburg's historic Main Street Frostburg (0.5 miles). Other Western Maryland attractions include Rocky Gap State Park Golf Course and Casino (20 mi), Wisp Resort (33 mi), and Deep Creek Lake (31 mi) are all nearby. Guest access Guests will have full access and use of the place 24 hours a day. You can come and go as you like and there’s an electronic lock, so there are no keys to keep up with! Other things to note Parking: Off street parking is available behind the house and there is additional street parking out front. Heating and cooling: There is central Heating available and is controlled by the thermostat in the dining room. There are ceiling fans and window AC units available in the bedrooms. Most of the time the mountain air provides a nice breeze and the neighborhood is quiet enough to leave the windows open. Accessibility: The entryway has a few steps and a sturdy railing. All three bedrooms and the one bathroom are located on the second floor, the living room and kitchen are located on the first. Supplies: We provide an assortment of Kurig pods, teas, creamer, and sweeteners for your morning routine along with a few basic oils, salt and pepper for cooking. The laundry room has new full sized washer and dryer. We provide all fresh hotel-style linens along with one roll of paper towels, plenty of bathroom paper, tissues, and laundry, diswasher, dish, and hand soaps. You will find books and board games located in the entertainment stand in the living room and a cornhole set in the front entryway closet. A few house rules: Please note this is a strictly non-smoking home and, unfortunately, we cannot accept pets. This is also a family neighborhood and we cannot host any parties. Thank you in advance!
