Nestled in Treasure Beach on the South Coast of Jamaica, Calabash House is an intimate vacation destination featuring lots of extras. The House & Cottages are located directly on the Caribbean Sea. Our guests enjoy the best swimming beach in the area. Older locals refer to our location as "the sweetest little corner in Treasure Beach" and we think you will agree! Calabash House is 5 to 7 minute walk to local restaurants and bars. Treasure Beach is local community based tourism destination. The space The Veranda Room is part of Calabash Guest House. This room has 1 queen bed and a private bathroom. A/C is available but at an ADDITIONAL COST $10 PER DAY. The room can sleep 2 people. Each room has a digital safe which is perfect fit for your passport & extra cash. You have access to the common areas of the house(kitchen, back & front veranda & outdoor beach & garden areas.) While the property sits directly on the beach, the Veranda room does not have a direct beach view. The beach is steps away from the house through the beautiful lush backyard gardens. We have a generous house and yard offering our guests spaces to connect and lots of little nooks for the chance to hide away. Guests have the option of dining on property with meals prepared by Suzett, our wonderful cook. For a reasonable price, she will shop for you and make you the most mouth watering, fresh breakfasts and dinners. Breakfast is $12 usd per person. Breakfast includes coffee, fresh fruit, fresh juice, and the main course (American or Jamaican) Dinners range from $15-Chicken, pork or beef $18 -Fish, & $20 for Lobster. Food in Jamaica is the best in the Caribbean, with local caught seafood and jerk specialties being among the favorites. Please inquire when making a reservation. Guest access Guests have access to the common areas: living room, kitchen, inside & outside dining area, front and back veranda, outdoor kitchenette, outdoor gardens, beach gazebo and the beach. During your stay We enjoy getting to know our guests and interacting with them, however if you prefer privacy our establishment offers you the space and peace you’re looking for. Other things to note -Each room in the Main Guest house offers A/C, but it is an ADDITIONAL CHARGE. $10 per day charge that you pay at the time of your stay. Cottages do not have A/C. -Each room & cottage has an in room digital safe for your use.
