Vuda beachfront villa “ Matasawa” is set in an acre of private tropical gardens on a beautiful golden sandy beach. Families love the beach and bay for swimming. The villa is self catering , plus gas BBQ in BBQ Bure next to Villa ,for those that want their own piece of paradise . Air con, fans, and insect screens on all windows . A GREAT location, many nearby resorts ,Vuda Marina are all a short walk along the beach or road. Vuda Point Road, Vuda , we are only 15 mins from Nadi airport. (5 th person) Min two night stay Description Vuda beachfront villa “Matasawa” is for those that want their own piece of paradise on a beautiful golden sandy beach, only 15 mins from Nadi Airport. Villa is self catering with separate BBQ Bure . Villa is one bedroom with King bed and two King Singles in living area. Relax with a book on a deck chair under the coconut trees, on the beach or in BBQ bure, relax/sleep in a Hammock . Enjoy the magical Fijian sunsets they are stunning 5 min walk along the beach/road to First Landing Resort, Vuda Marina, all have off mainland island day trip schedules. Down the road is Nila Resort and Landers Bay Resort. .( Adults only) All have dining options for meals if you don’t want to cook or BBQ. Our guests can have breakfast ask cost, , lunch, dinner at First Landing Resort and can use their Internet . For a small fee you can use their swimming pool and kayaks. All welcome at Vuda Marina , cafe / internet , general store, sunken bar restaurant on the point. Gt atmosphere . Much to explore . Enjoy the resorts beachfront bars, their wide range of tasty food, Fijian entertainment/shows, pools. Some resorts may charge a reasonable daily /weekly pool fee. If you prefer to cook/ BBQ, there is a General Store at Vuda Marina and Saweni supermarket a short taxi ride or take Vuda/ Lautoka bus it stops outside our gate and stops at local supermarket in Saweni or continue to Lautoka City Regular bus service to Lautoka City passes our gate, stand on other side of road, put your hand up and it will stop, journey approx 25mins. and bus to Nadi Town, change at T junction up the road, ask driver., then stand at bus shelter across the road Nadi bus comes every 10-15 mins. “A Fiji experience.” Lautoka ,local town, has many shops, supermarkets, large local fruit, vegetable, fish market, craft market . Well worth visiting . Nadi Town the same You can bus from Nadi Town up the road to Denerau Port and hotel resorts . Some Guests do that go on boat day trips , or explore day out and taxi back . Agree on taxi fare back to Vuda Hire Taxis based at Vuda Marina, negotiate price as no meter, taxis in First Landing car park, have meters, ask cost This is a non smoking villa and sorry, no pets. I have had wheelchair guests who travel with ramps for steps , villa has three steps , and loved their stay. Families love the beach and the safe swimming in the bay for children. Fiji is tidal , families enjoy exploring the rock pools when tide is out. Many visitors swim over the reef and snorkel. If you snorkel bring gear .Some visitors have seen turtles and many tropical fish I also have guests from home exchanges, friends and family. Staying in the villa which I show on the calendar as booked The villa is very popular as a GREAT LOCATION, on a beautiful golden sandy beach, very relaxing . We also have our holiday home private from the beachfront villa and are not there all year round but I can be contacted by email. Our housekeeper can help/ answer most questions and has xtra supplies stored in our storeroom if needed during your stay Please ask her . Guests use their ph plans for internet or buy a Fiji SIM card which is not expensive. SIM cards can be bought at Nadi airport . I buy a Fiji SIM card at airport on arrival when in Fiji for internet. Guest access Drive up private driveway to beachfront villa. Parking outside Outside lights on side path and front entrance for safe easy access at night . Four concrete steps into villa. Housekeeper will put key under gas bottle in BBQ Bure before guests arrive Put key in lock at top of door, turn, pull down latch, lift latch at bottom and bi fold door will open. Please close wooden Louvers when opening bi fold doors so handles don’t break. Thank you Other things to note Read visitors book as interesting reading from many happy guests. Bus timetable in front and all info needed to enjoy your holiday. You can drink the tap water I do all the time. I don’t drink bottled water .ice in freezer Matches for BBQ in drawer under TV, plus gas lighter in kitchen drawer. Insect screens on all windows. Please close bi fold dr windows before opening dbl bifold villa doors otherwise the handles of the windows can break Thank you Also aircon cools down villa quicker when windows closed. Aircon doesn’t work well if windows open as goes out windows Early Arrivals Guests arriving on early LA or San Fran flights can arrive before 2 pm , can arrive from airport to villa by 8 .30am at no xtra cost, (not before as gates will be locked. ) That gives you more time to rest, relax in the villa after a very long overnight flight. . If there are no guests arriving next day and you have a late flight eg LA or San Fran you can have a late check out ( more relaxing time at the beach villa ) No xtra cost. Please mention early arrivals and late departures on your request to stay so I can confirm availability and inform housekeeper. Hope this helps for early/ late flights Beach chairs, deck chair in BBQ Bure. These can be taken to grass area or beach. Please return to BBQ area daily after use . Please put deck chair mattresses inside villa after use please Do not leave out overnight. Hammock in BBQ Bure Relax and enjoy No Wi Fi in villa Guests either use their ph plans or buy Fiji SIM card at airport, very reasonably priced . Wi Fi is at Vuda Marina Cafe, guests buy coffee at cafe and use wi fi as do the yachties. Also if having breakfast or coffee at First Landing Resort you can use their Wi Fi. Guests say they have good breakfasts Rubbish Green rubbish bin is at back of gardeners tool shed by the garage. Empty bottles please wash and place neatly by shed/ rubbish bin. OR You can also give to Mohini , housekeeper who is on site most mornings or gardener who is working Monday, Tues, Wed, Thursday.. If you need more supplies eg shower liquid soap. Toilet rolls etc ask Mohini as all supplies are kept in our storeroom.
