Set in the heart of rolling hills and forestry of South Wicklow. This historical courtyard property was formerly the Home Farm to The Earl Fitzwilliam estate, the neighbouring property. The Hay Loft is a spacious split level property . The kitchen is located on the ground floor and the spacious sitting room and 3 bedrooms on the 2nd level. The house has been well renovated yet retains much of it's old charm. There is a private patio to the back of house. The space 2 of the bedrooms and the sitting room look on to the beautiful courtyard. 1 bedroom has a small private ensuite and the other 2 share a tandem interlinking en-suite bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and has a large fridge with freezer compartment, good size oven. There is stone staircase which should to be noted for younger children or those with reduced mobility. The wood burning stove is by the dining table in the kitchen. There is no fire or stove in the living room upstairs. Guests can drive into the courtyard to unload their car but then the car will need to be parked in the allocated private parking outside of the actual courtyard but still within the grounds of the property which is enclosed with electric gates. You will be given the code before arrival. Guest access There is no public transport , guests will need a car to get around Other things to note Oil fired central heating for heating and hot water will not be charged unless your use of heating is above a normal average usage. If this is exceeded then a charge may be applied.
