Conveniently located less than 2 miles off I-35, you're only 20 minutes from Waco and Temple, making day trips easy. . The space We love our three-story Barndominium. Here’s a description of our space. The main level: 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a half bath/laundry room. Spacious Family Retreat with Valley Views Our home is perfect for families and small groups looking to relax, reconnect, and celebrate meaningful moments — like birthdays or family dinners — in a peaceful setting. The open-concept living room and kitchen area seats 16–20, ideal for meals, conversation, and downtime together. Sleeping Arrangements (Main Level) Bedroom 1: King bed – sleeps 2 Bedroom 2: Queen bed – sleeps 2 Bedroom 3 (Master): Queen bed – sleeps 2 2 full baths and also a 1/2 bath on this level. (Mezzanine Hayloft - 2nd Level) NO bath on this level. 5 twin beds – sleeps 5 Toy cupboard and TV games Overlooks the main living area Electric piano (Upper Level - 3rd Floor) Family/movie room with Roku, projector and gaming Daybed with 2 twin beds – sleeps 2 Bedroom 4: Queen bed – sleeps 2 Bedroom 5 ("Lavender Room"): Full/double antique bed – sleeps 1 Bedroom 6: Two twin beds side by side – sleeps 2, plus a crib Full bathroom with walk-in shower Spacious breezeway with beautiful valley views Outdoor Amenities Back deck with hot tub and gas fire pit table Play scape with swings and slide mainly for older kids. Important House Rules Maximum occupancy is 18 guests total (including children) No unregistered guests allowed at any time Birthday parties and small family celebrations are welcome — please message us for approval No large events, over 18 guests No outside catering or rental equipment (e.g. bounce houses, inflatable slides) without written permission No smoking or vaping indoors No hard liquor or excessive alcohol Quiet hours from 10:00 PM - 8:00am Playscape Safety Reminder ⚠️ Not suitable for small children. Our home is best suited for family stays and adult gatherings where the focus is connection and relaxation. If you're looking for a restful and memorable stay in the country, we think you'll love it here. Guest access Access to all locations, except the master closet. The back 6 acres of the property has a horse in the pasture, please don't open the gate or go into that area. There are two storage barns, please don’t enter. Our Barndominium has two sets of staircases, so young children, as well as older adults, will need assistance. Please make sure safety gates are in place And don’t allow any young children in the loft area without supervision. There is a big step. The second set of stairs goes to the third floor and is steeper than the first set of stairs to the loft/mezzanine level. We have an outside playscape designed for older children. Please make sure no young children access that. This playscape on the property includes high climbing walls, elevated platforms, and steep slides. For your safety, children under 10 should NOT use this equipment, and all minors must be supervised at all times. Thank you for your understanding. We want everyone to stay safe. As our guests, we ask that you do not conduct any tours of our home, or allow any unplanned guests into our home. Also, the person renting our home needs to be present during the rental. Thank you so much! Other things to note We have a buffet in the dining room that has farm-style plates, bowls, glass salad plates, etc. There is enough for 16 place settings for your meals there is also seating for two at the kitchen island. We occasionally hear the rumbling of test rockets during the day from Space X 20 miles away. You will be on horse-feeding duty during your stay. She also loves pets and selfies. Please make sure no young children do not play in the barn un-attended. We also have a playscape/swingset designed for older children. So just a Playscape Safety Reminder ⚠️ Not suitable for small children. Please supervise all kids and restrict young children from using the equipment. Our trash day is now set to Fridays by the company we use. So we will move those trash cans down to the end of the road like the night/afternoon before. And we will leave an extra receptacle up at the house for Guests to use if they’re there over a weekend, which most of our guests are.
