Police Station: Bishnupur, Post Office: Kanyanagar, West Bengal South 24 Parganas Pin: 743398.  The entire district is situated in the Ganges Delta and the subdivision, on the east bank of the Hooghly River, is an alluvial stretch, with industrial development. Terrace:  The terrace has beautiful views and on a good day this is the place to hang around.
