Enjoy outdoor dining on the large 3-sided deck, and cap off your days with s'mores sessions at the fire pit! Boating, hiking, swimming, and skiing are minutes away. Or, get cozy indoors and enjoy movies, puzzles, and games. Rocky Ledge is pet-friendly! We welcome up to two dogs with a flat $50 pet fee. Rocky Ledge is the perfect setting for all your outdoor adventures! Get ready to experience a fun and relaxing vacation at our cozy and inviting cabin, surrounded by New Hampshire's natural beauty and variety of outdoor activities. Rocky Ledge is pet-friendly! Many of our guests bring dogs and tell us how much they love the fenced-in backyard, the screen-in back porch (new this year), and the dog beds, bowls, and toys we provide. Our full kitchen (fridge, electric range, dishwasher) includes a toaster, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. All of the essentials like coffee, hot cocoa, tea, salt & pepper, cooking oil, dish soap, paper towels, and toilet paper are provided. The main floor is warm and welcoming, featuring an open kitchen/dining/living room with a soaring cathedral ceiling. The double sliding glass doors invite the outdoors in and lead to an expansive deck. During cooler evenings, cozy up by the electric fireplace and enjoy your favorite shows and movies on the state-of-the-art OLED TV. Rocky Ledge is equipped with wireless high speed fiber internet and we're signed in to many streaming services like Netflix, Prime, and Hulu! The lower level is a family haven with a comfortable leather sectional and LED TV, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Also in the lower level is the laundry room, free for guests to use, with laundry detergent provided. The main bedroom on the first floor has a queen bed and wardrobe, and there is a queen bedroom and kids’ bunk bed room on second floor. A full bath on each floor (one with shower, one with large soaking tub) means plenty of room for everyone. The large soaking tub is great for unwinding after a day hiking. The second floor also features a playroom loft, furnished with a futon and a delightful selection of games and books for rainy days. The three-sided deck is home to the outdoor dining area with gas grill (propane provided) and seating for six under the umbrella. Relax around the fire pit and make s’mores! New in Fall 2023 is the screened-in porch! It's a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee while looking out at the woods. Up to two dogs are welcome at Rocky Ledge! We have a dog bed, crate, and bowls so you don’t need to bring anything. Lake access 0.9 mi away, use our canoe (seasonal; roughly May-October) or put yours in the water! Swim at association pool (Memorial Day through Labor Day) or at Island Pond. The cabin is located just 0.9 miles away from the lake, where you can access our canoe (seasonal; roughly May-October) or put in your own. You can also enjoy a swim at the association pool, available from Memorial Day through Labor Day, or at Island Pond. Guests have access to the full property, including backyard and plenty of parking in the driveway. I live about 1.5 -2 hrs away but we have a local caretaker who can help out, or I can drive up if there's an emergency. Quiet wooded neighborhood around Highland Lake.
