Old Orchard is a cozy, inviting home in the quiet residential area of Webster Groves. It is a charming example of 1920's architecture, featuring arched doorways, original wood floors and molding, and an over-sized bedroom with large windows to view the outside trees and greenery. Lockwood Park across the street is a stone's throw away and offers an outlet for walking and enjoying nature. We have one house cat. Note that there is extra charge for second guest. Please check House Rules. The space Enjoy the luminous chandelier above the burled walnut bed, circa 1860. Private bath featuring a period-tiled floor, jacuzzi and shower combination complete your accommodations. After a long day, enjoy the large deck that reaches into the tree tops of surrounding locust, pine and magnolia trees. Guest access A mini refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot is provided in guest room. A continental breakfast, coffee, tea, and juice will be available every morning. Due to COVID 19, you will need to microwave your breakfast entre yourself. An in-room TV with a Roku is included. Wifi is also available. Smoking is allowed on the deck only. During your stay We will do our best to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. You will be given a key to come and go as you please, and we are happy to answer questions about the area. We have a Communication Book on our dining room table so that we know each others plans for the day. Other things to note We are located within a 10 minute walk of the Old Orchard shopping district which is home to 18 restaurants and many specialty shops as well. Webster University is less than a mile away.
