Description

Enjoy a mountain getaway or remote work stay in a dreamy A-Frame cabin with a cedar hot tub. The cabin is a 3 min drive to Wenatchee river, 3 min to Plain, 25 min to Leavenworth, and 35 min to Stevens Pass. Close to skiing, hiking, climbing, rivers and lakes. The cabin is set in a woodsy neighborhood but is not secluded. The bedroom is one open loft with 3 beds. The Cedar hot tub is accessed by a walking path outside and is not secluded. Hot tub is use at your own risk. Fast wifi. The space The space. Enjoy my cozy Aframe cabin with fast wifi, cedar hot tub at 103 degrees, and charming rustic interior with an open sleeping loft upstairs. Note there is only 1 bedroom with 3 beds. Perfect for small families or remote workers looking for a quiet mountain escape with plenty of adventureing opportunities at the doorstep. There is an open sleeping loft upstairs with 2 queen beds and one single bed. There are two small balconies on each side of the loft. A curtain separates one side of the loft from the other but there are no doors. Please see photos or ask me if you need further clarification. The living space has a couch and fully equipped kitchen on the first floor. Large dining table doubles as a work desk. There is no dish washer and only basic cooking amenities. A classic wood burning stove is the perfect finishing touch for a mountain escape. Upstairs Open loft- The loft area has no doors. Curtains can separate the loft into two sides.. This may not be the best cabin to book if you need more privacy than this. Both sides of the loft have a small balcony. There are no closets upstairs but each side has a dresser for your clothes. Both sides of the open loft have small balcony and privacy curtains. The cabin will be most comfortable with 1-3 people. 4 people is the maximum. **Winter Guests** The hot tub is use at your own risk in the winter months! The cabin sees frequent snowfall and the walking path to the hot tub is not shoveled. The path can be very icy and not usable in the winter at times. Please bring appropriate footwear and microspikes for walking outside near the cabin. Carrying chains is required of all winter guests as well. Thank you! ** Surroundings - The cabin is set in a beautiful and peaceful woodsy neighborhood but is not secluded. There are neighbors on both sides of the cabin and across the street. Little Bear Cabin sits on the main road through the cabin community and in general it is a very quiet area. Summer weekends can be busier in the neighborhood with people cycling, walking and driving outdoor mountain toys like 4 wheelers. There are neighboring houses surrounding the property on a quiet street. Behind the Aframe is a beautiful natural cedar hot tub set at 103 degrees but please note the hot tub is also not fully secluded and is accessed by a dirt path to the back of the house. In winter the hot tub is use at your own risk (see photo) the path can be icy and slippery in the winter. One very well behaved and completely house-trained dog is allowed for a 75 dollar fee per stay. The Plain Hardware/coffee shop, grocery store and Old Mill Cafe restaurant are 3 minute drive or 30 minute walk. (In the winter you can rent ski and snow equipment from the Plain Hardware store). Three wineries are a close drive away on the Chiwawa Loop Rd! ( Plain Cellars -3 minute drive away! ,Eagle Creek Winery and Icicle Ridge Winery) Guest access keyless entry. The driveway fits 2 cars maximum Other things to note One very well behaved and house trained dog is allowed for a 75 dollar fee. If you are wanting to bring your pup the following house rules must be followed: Dogs are not allowed on any furniture or beds, or house blanket, pillows or house towels - no exceptions. Please bring your own dog bedding and dog towels and crate. Dogs must be crated if ever left alone. All pet waste outside must be picked up and thrown away properly. No dogs are allowed in the back of the house where the hot tub is. Dogs are not allowed in the bathtub or bathroom in the house. Thank you for helping us keep Little Bear Cabin dog-friendly. Please note the cabin sits in a residential community and there are many other houses nearby. Please be respectful of noise levels at night when outside, using the hot tub and on the decks. Thank you! If you are taking the Chumstick highway either to or from Leavenworth please note there are a couple areas where cell phone service drops out a bit! Either download your map to the cabin on your phone or print directions to the cabin if you need to in-case your gps cuts out mid-way through the drive. You don't need to go far for breakfast and lunch! The Plain Hardware store is so much more than a hardware store! It has a really cute gift shop and coffee shop inside. Next door to the hardware store is a grocery store and there is restaurant open for breakfast and lunch and closes a couple days mid week in the winter. Drive by for the current schedule hours.
