Desert Bird Camp

Breakfast included. Come and enjoy the spirit and beauty of traditional Bedouin lifestyle in our desert camp right in the center of Wadi Rum UNESCO Protected Area. Sleep in your private tent, or sit with us in our common space to chat or enjoy a cup of tea. We offer traditional bedouin dinner cooked under the ground. This cost 10JD per person. We offer different tours, that you can join. If you choose to not take a tour with us, we take a transportation fee from the village to our camp. The space Desert Bird Camp features 15 tents for 2 to 6 people and a big tent for gatherings, which is also our restaurant. Here we serve breakfast and offer dinner as well as traditional Bedouin tea. Guest access Apart from the big tent and your own private tent where you sleep, you will be able to use the shared bathrooms with warm water. Other things to note As our camp is in the middle of the desert, we suggest you try to get to Wadi Rum village. There we will pick you up at the place of your arrival and drive you to the camp. This service is free of charge for all guests who book any of our tours. We kindly ask you to contact us in advance and tell us the exact time you are likely to arrive in the village. At our camp, the WiFi connection is very limited . We encourage guests to embrace this chance to connect with each other and take the experience of being unplugged. We'll give you all the support in a way that you won't need internet access during your stay :)
