Welcome to Lavender Suite at Ole Samara. Lavender Suite is a studio design with modern amenities and contemporary designs throughout. It has a fully-equipped kitchen, a fireplace in the bedroom with queen size bed, a desk and chair for reading/writing, ample closet space, a bay window seat and a spacious modern bathroom. The patio has a large daybed, a fireplace, and a lovely mosaic table with chairs. There is also a lovely green space surrounded by a high wall for extra privacy. The space Ole Samara is a tranquil nature’s paradise situated on 10 acres, with the lower portion bordered by the year round Burguret river. It is located just off the Nanyuki-Nyeri Highway next to the Mt. Kenya National forest and consists of six units - Gardenia, Jasmine, Fuchsia,Lavender, Bamboo 1 and Bamboo 2 suites. Ole Samara serves as an excellent base to explore the Laikipia region, climb Mt. Kenya, do walks or rides into the Mt. Kenya forest, visit various game reserves - such as Ol Pejeta, Solio Ranch, Lewa, and Samburu National Park or just as a lovely serene place relax and wind down. We’ve created a lovely walking path along the river which is lined with indigenous trees and is habitat of Colobus monkeys which are a delight to watch. The river also has trout, so fishing is possible. The whole property has abundant bird life and is bird watchers Beddings are luxurious 100% cotton sheets with high thread count and a warm down duvet. This is a perfect place for dreamers to reflect, reset and create. Guest access You have access to entire suite plus it’s private garden.You also have access to the serene 10 acres the property sits on that has abundant nature trails, a river - with trout if you would like fishing and is a bird watchers paradise. Other things to note The Lavender suite is the largest and most secluded and romantic of the six units at Ole Samara. Next to the private grassy area is a lovely relaxing area with cushioned benches under a pergola to relax. A small water garden with gold fish and water lilies is adjacent to the pergola. The bay window seat inside lavender Suite can also be converted into a sleeping area for one child. If looking for long term stay this would be the most ideal unit.This suite is ideal for longer term guests. Since it’s just off the highway, some sounds from the highway may be heard. Otherwise the nights are peaceful and quiet with occasional wildlife noises of tree hyraxes, frogs, colobus monkeys, crickets, the rare hyenas etc.
