Welcome to a truly unique stay! Our property is home to two special ventures—our goat rental business, Scapegoats, and our nonprofit animal sanctuary, Mousam Misfits. While goats are part of the charm, they’re just the beginning—you may also see a variety of rescued animals during your visit. If you love animals and a one-of-a-kind experience, you’ll feel right at home here! We are about 150 ft from the Mousam River, and guests have access to kayaks (for free!) BTW***WE LOVE CANADIANS!! 🇨🇦 The space The airstream has one double bed. The extra sleeping space is the dining table that folds into a bed. It’s really only suitable for a small adult or child. So can sleep two adults and one child or potentially three adults but it would be a tight fit. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking/eating including a smoothie maker, coffee pot, toaster, and basic cooking necessities. Full bathroom with stand-up shower. Yes there is hot and cold running water! There is also an outdoor propane grill (propane provided) with an extra side burner. The yard includes a smokeless Solo fire-pit, comfy Adirondack chairs, and a picnic table. Guests have access to free fire wood from our wood shed. The airstream comes with free wifi, a bluetooth sound system, a smart TV with free access to Netflix, basic cable, and a blu-ray player. There is not a microwave in the Airstream but one can be provided! Just ask :-) Guest access Guests are able to walk around the property and visit the animals. Guests are not allowed to go inside the fenced areas without the host present. Other things to note In full disclosure, we do live on a fairly busy road which includes motorcycles driving by. The airstream is equipped with a noise/sleep machine and fan to drown out the road noise. The airstream is located next to the property owner’s home with a privacy fence in between. This is not a secluded stay. However, the road is not very visible from the property!
