Located in the beautiful village of Talasnal, Casa da Beatriz offers a unique experience in a comfortable and welcoming environment being ideally adapted for 1 couple but with the possibility of accommodating 2 more guests on a sofa bed. As we have another contigua house (Casa do Tomás) we can connect both houses and so accommodate a larger family or group of friends. Isolated on the mountain, the village becomes a perfect place for those seeking tranquility and involvement with nature. The space The restoration of the house was completed in 2022 with full respect for the indigenous characteristics of the region, using typical materials such as shale and wood, and its interior was endowed with all the comfort and amenities required today. The house is developed on 2 floors. The ground floor consists of a small fully equipped kitchen and living/dining room with wood-fired salamander and sofa bed, on the 1st floor we find a bedroom with private bathroom and with access to a small balcony. Other things to note In the village, there are restaurants where you can taste the delicacies of the region, cafes where they serve typical cakes and light food. Nearby we can explore several schist villages, natural pools, and even the place where the ice that used to be made in summer for the cutting in Lisbon. The nearest village Lousã is 11 km away where there are supermarkets, restaurants and general shops and Coimbra university town is only 40 km away. Lisbon is 2h/200km and Porto at 1h45/165 km.
