Casa Părintească is not only a home stay, but also a a living museum of rural Moldova, along the community kitchen and the bike rental. The all-season, minimalistic studio is equipped with the fireplace, double bed, convertible sofa, private bathroom & wi-fi. The space Guests get a chance to learn the unique, local technique of carpet weaving & embroidery - "covorul în bumbi", try genuine traditional food, take a part in cooking workshops or embark on bike&gourmand&adventure tour through stunning Calarasi hills: the Codru. We are a community tourism project: staying at Casa Părintească you help the local ladies to enhance and diversify they meagre income. Want to make your own jam, marmalade, jelly or pickles from local fruits or veggies and take it home: feel free and whenever possible let us know in advance: we will bring you a bunch of jars. Full board option available on demand: vegetarian-friendly upon request!
