Comfortable and welcoming house with nearby views of Puget Sound and two opposing mountain ranges. The high ceilings and huge windows create a generous space that is full of light. We are in a lovely, walkable neighborhood with fantastic scenic views. We're near parks, groceries, the library, art and culture, and restaurants. Queen bed in the big sunny bedroom.. luxury bedding and Turkish robes provided. Your modern bathroom is downstairs on the first floor. It's private unless there are other guests. You are welcome to our living room to watch movies and nestle by our fireplace in the long dark days of winter. We love the rainforest life and tho dark in the rainy season (October-June), we find it's conducive to writing, reading, and art making. Our guests are welcome to use our first floor parlor, family room, kitchen, large front porch and pretty back yard. We are happy to chat, have wine or coffee with you, or be basically invisible. Whatever your interests as far as the surrounding area, nature or city life, I'm full of fun ideas and places to go. We live in a wonderfully walkable area. You can meander along Grand Avenue, which is a block to the west of us with views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains beyond as you head towards town, a mile away. I take a five mile walk that loops down the bluff to the Everett Marina, the largest in the U.S. Easy access to Boeing, Providence Hospital, The Everett Marina and the U.S. Naval Base. All within 15 minutes. Plenty of street parking in front of the house. The bus to Seattle takes an hour and saves a small fortune in parking fees. Bill takes the bus three times a week when he's teaching. We are owned by three pups. They're rescues, very sweet but not great with other dogs. Because of that, we can't welcome guests with their own animals.
