But we actually live in our house. • We have NO pets--inside or outside the house--so, no worries if you are allergic to animals. • We use unscented laundry soap--no perfumes or irritants. • Plenty of safe, free parking available on our street. • Guest bedroom is 15 feet by 10 feet; small but cozy. Situated in the back of the our English Country-style house. It is very quiet. We provide privacy for guests, but occasionally come into the laundry room and pantry. • Keep the guest room door closed. You can lock it—and take the skeleton key—while you are out. We won't enter the guest room during your stay. • There are two windows in the bedroom, usually open to let fresh air in. You can close them if you want. • Private entrance right into the guest area. (You do not walk through our house or use the front door.) • Push button code-entry lock, so you can enter the house at any time. You can check in even if you arrive late at night. You don't need to meet us to get a key. The entry code is listed in the AirBnB. app. under ENTRY CODE. • Queen-size (2 person) bed with firm, high-quality mattress. Bed-bug proof. Cotton sheets--no polyester. • Desk and chair. Plenty of outlets for laptops, chargers, etc. • Sturdy table and two more chairs. • Electric hot-water kettle in guest room. Coffee & tea provided. • Walk-in closet. (Iron and small ironing board provided). • Two hotel-style luggage racks for suitcases. (So you don’t have to live out of your suitcases on the floor). • Night-table and 2 lamps for reading/tablet--watching in bed. • We have many books about Hollywood, Los Angeles, tourist attractions, a dictionary, comics, etc. • Wi-Fi router is just 7 feet away, so there’s good signal-strength. We can run a CAT-6 cable into the room if you need a faster connection. • Full bathroom (tub/shower, sink, toilet). We have no other guests. The bathroom is mostly yours. However, access is listed as "shared"--but only for occasional toilet use and hand washing by friends over for dinner. • Bathroom has shelves to hold your toiletries. Plenty of hooks for towels, your clothes, and robes. Soap, shampoo and conditioner provided. Also, makeup remover, pads, band-aides and ointment. • Fluffy towel-sets provided. In the guest room closet are beach towels and sunblock lotion and a basket for if you go to the beach. • Laundry room access. (Free use of washer & dryer, with detergent provided). • Private garden courtyard with patio table and chairs. NOTE: • No kitchen access. Guests can use the bedroom, bathroom, laundry, and courtyard only. • No meals provided. (Sorry. But several good cafes and taco trucks are close by.) • No pets allowed. No service-animals--with fur. Come in through the BLUE GARDEN GATE on the LEFT SIDE of the house--NOT through the house's front door. Go directly to the RED SIDE-DOOR and use the push-button entry-code AirBnB will send you. You have access to the private bedroom, our laundry room (with free washer/dryer & detergent), full bathroom, and courtyard with patio table & chairs. No kitchen access. No access to the rest of our house (kitchen, living room, dining room, basement, garage, etc.) During your stay Tony works from home, so he’s available most days/nights. We have a wireless doorbell in the laundry room that rings in Tony's office upstairs. Carla works in Santa Monica and is out most weekdays. If you want suggestions of where to go, just ask--or use the AirBnB app to send Tony a message if you have questions, need help or advice from somewhere in the city.
