Our cozy vacation home (55m2) is located directly on the water. From the terrace/living room, you can look freely over the harbor where there is always something to do. From the roof terrace, you have a fantastic view over the entire lake (the Fluessen) and in the distance Heeg. De Koggeplaet is a small quiet park. It has a beach and a boat ramp. A paradise for water sports enthusiasts, cyclists and peace seekers. Within walking distance is a diner, boat rental and 2 sailing schools. The space Our vacation home (55m2) was built in 2017. It is nicely furnished and equipped with every comfort. It consists of a spacious living room with an open kitchen, a bathroom with walk-in shower, a separate toilet and 3 bedrooms. At the front is a terrace (20m2) above the water overlooking the marina. On the side, there is a picnic table and the outdoor shower. On top is a roof terrace (25m2) with lovely lounge sofas and a fantastic view over De Fluessen. Living room The house has a bright living room with an open kitchen and sliding doors (with screen) to the partially covered terrace. Kitchen The open kitchen is completely furnished. It has a dishwasher, a combi oven/microwave, a fridge (without freezer), a kettle and an espresso machine. Bedrooms There are 3 bedrooms. The largest has a double bed of 160x200cm (2 separate mattresses). The 2nd bedroom has a 140x200cm double bed. The third a 'doubt' bunk bed of 2x 140x200cm. The bedrooms are small but cozy. All three have a closet. All windows are equipped with screens. Bathroom The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a sink. Toilet The cottage has a separate toilet with sink. The Koggeplaet Park de Koggeplaet consists of vacation homes and a marina (based on availability, there is space for temporary use). The park is right on De Fluessen. There is a swimming beach with a secluded area for the youngest. There is also a small playground in the park and a ping pong table. Just outside the park is a public simple outdoor gym. The park is wonderfully quiet. Guest access The whole house, including the garden is available to guests. On the premises there is a shed in which we keep our private belongings. The shed is not accessible. Other things to note The house can only be reached via a staircase (four steps). Since the house is close to/above the water, we recommend that you bring a life jacket for anyone who cannot swim. The WiFi is usually okay, but Elahuizen does not have the best coverage. Please keep this in mind. There are no stores in Elahuizen. There is a diner with a terrace on the water within walking distance. The nearest supermarkets are in Balk and Woudsend (10 min. drive by car) and are open every day. At the adjacent sailing school Allemansend or at WSC de Fluessen, it is possible to rent a sailboat or sloop.
