Elegantly and uniquely decorated two room apartment with kitchenette, offering also fridge, microwave, Italian electric coffee machine for two. There are internal stairs connecting the two rooms. Hot and cold water. Mosquito nets at windows and around the bed. The space The apartment building is a 17th century construction with Mediterranean-Indian style. All traditionally built with original coral stones, coral lime, and valuable wood. We restored the existing walls (1.30 cm large) and well-preserved roofs (in Iron Wood) but rebuilt windows, doors, and the floors. These ones with colour pigmented cement. Colours characterize the apartment… and the whole house. Pictures testify it. Internal stairs join the first-floor bedroom to the sitting room. The kitchenette entrance is at one of the sitting room corners. On top of all there is a panoramic terrace with a round view of the whole island and the seas. Outside the bedroom there is a roofed balcony and a large terrace. Other external stairs take guests from the terrace to the roof. All this space is reserved to apartment guests. One of striking qualities of the whole house set up is a huge Indian almond tree, decades old, that covers most of the buildings and incredibly refreshes house, terraces, and garden. Moreover, the prevailing breezes enter from the garden and cool the apartment all the time. Finally, the decoration is inventively joining old island historic finds, modern artistic pieces, books and just outdated and thrown away “junk”, however unusually reset, and all mixed with modern comfort. Other things to note A/C optional, fee not included. The apartment is self-catering, but for the first breakfast we offer milk, coffee, bread, and home-made jam. Free cleaning and change of linen on the fourth day.
