This unit offers a lot of private space, including a full kitchen, living room with TV/library, workout room, bedroom with queen bed & separate bath. Private deck. Off street parking is provided. Explore our lovely park like property with patio & fire pit. Access to the lower level is by interior staircase; no elevator is available. We have a small, older dog who loves everyone! And, like us, she welcomes guests from all backgrounds and cultures to our home. Entry is via back of house, lower level entry door. You will be provided a combination to the outside mounted key lock box, located near the door, a day before arrival. A quaint stone pathway will lead you from the front entry path, directly off the driveway, to the back entrance. We have a park like back yard with a patio, a deck with fire table, & another fire pit, all which you can access directly from your floor. As coffee lovers and roasters, we offer our guests our fresh roasts of the week. We are happy to prepare a pour over for you or you can just brew it yourself in the drip brewer located in your private kitchen. We work primarily from home, thus we are very accessible to offer information about our area, local venues, and special events. However, since you will have an entire floor to yourselves, our interaction will be as much or as little as you prefer. We are located on a park with fishing lake within walking distance of downtown Libertyville. There you can dine at one of 25 restaurants and shop at several boutiques. Both the Village and Mainstreet Libertyville have several community events that are well attended. The surrounding area provides additional attractions including malls, Six Flags amusement park, local theater, Ravinia Music festival and Renaissance Faire. If you love the outdoors, take advantage of the many local forest preserves trails, golf courses, & lakes that surround us. A bike trail is located adjacent to our property. The Chicago Botanic Garden is nearby as well as beautiful Lake Michigan. We are in walking distance to the Metra train which will take you directly to Union Station in Chicago. If traveling by car, Interstate 94 is minutes from our house. You can drive into Chicago in about 45-60 minutes, depending on time of day. We are just a 15 minute drive to Great America and a 20 minute drive to the Great Lakes Naval Station. To see the area with ease, we recommend a car. However, you can also hop on the Metra train into Chicago which will take about 1 hour, depending on the time of day. Uber, Lift, cabs, and buses are also available. You will be sharing our home in a quiet residential area, thus should you be out late, we ask that you be respectful of noise levels when coming and going. Overnight street parking is not allowed in our community. We provide private parking for up to 2 vehicles in our driveway.
