Located in a quiet and lovely neighborhood. The backyard abuts a wooded area where deer bed in the winter and occasionally roam out at any time of the year. The home is a sunny and bright, refurbished 1945 cape with wood flooring. Enjoy a 10–15-minute stroll to historic downtown Montpelier or head into the adjacent Hubbard Park, which contains miles of wooded walking and running paths. For mountain bikers, a fantastic trail system is less than a 2-mile ride from the house. The space The home is also a warm and cozy environment with plenty of space for up to 6 to sleep. This 1945 cape was remodeled and now includes an ensuite master bedroom. Each living space has ample light that pours in at times in the day. The backyard offers seating and a fire pit with wood available to enjoy the crisp evening air. Large eat-in kitchen with everything you need. Coffee, tea, and condiments provided. Parking: A carport for one vehicle and two additional on-site parking spaces. New heat pumps keep the home cool in the summer. Montpelier is full of fabulous unique shops and restaurants and the weekend farmer’s market has wonderful local produce, meats, dairy, coffee, spirits, ready served food, artisans, and more. The capitol building is iconic and can be toured. Guest access The home is entirely yours to enjoy. Keypad entry. There is a carport and two additional parking spaces. The enclosed backyard has a fire pit and overlooks the woods. Other things to note Sleeping arrangements: Two bedrooms on the second floor each with queen beds and the ensuite bedroom has two very comfortable twin day beds along with a smart tv. Important note: Some of the photos feature our sweet cat, Danny, who passed away this autumn. If you have an allergy to feline, you may want to book elsewhere.
