This cozy cottage is nestled in the most desirable area of Manistee. Only 2 blocks from the beautiful downtown on River Street where you can find lovely restaurants, shops, and festivals, and less than a mile from the Lake Michigan beach! 3 night minimum for larger groups Check in after 2 Check out by 11 The house has been completely renovated. Every room has new paint in designer colors. The flooring is all new this season LVP. There are three bedrooms. Two bedrooms have queen size beds while the third bedroom has a bunk bed with a full mattress on the bottom and a twin on the top. The bedrooms each have comfortable mattresses and new linens. There is one bathroom that has been completely updated. It has an elegant pedestal sink and stand up shower. There is a full kitchen for you to use during your stay with a full sized refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave. There are dishes, pots and pans for your use as well. There is also a washer and dryer for you to use during your stay. There is a window unit air conditioner although opening the windows create a nice cross breeze that normally is sufficient in this area of northern Michigan. Guests will have access to the entire house as well as the backyard. There will be someone in town to help if there are any issues during your stay. The Vogue Theater located downtown has been completely restored and offers the latest movies at very reasonable rates. There is a lovely boardwalk that runs from downtown all the way to Lake Michigan. If you are feeling lucky, you could head over to The Little River Casino only a 10 min drive away. This house is easily within walking distance of the downtown as well as historic landmarks such as the Ramsdell Theater and the Manistee Library which houses one of the rare Audubon books "Birds of North America." There are three world class golf courses that are beautifully maintained: Manistee National, Manistee Country Club, and Arcadia Bluffs. Two of which overlook Lake Michigan. There are numerous local charter boats available for fishing up the river or on Lake Michigan. First Street beach with its expansive sand, children's park, beach house, and picnic area is easily walkable at less than a mile away. However there is plenty of parking at the beach and downtown if you wish to drive. The house is professionally cleaned between visits. No need to strip beds.
