Other things to note Chesapeake City is conveniently located just 1.5 hours from the Delaware seashore & within an hour of Philly, Baltimore & Annapolis. We are also close to both Rt 1 & I-95, so feel free to use this place as your home base as you explore! There are many accessible bike and walking paths along the canal, and you can even rent bicycles on the north side of the canal and bike or hike the 14 mile Ben Cardin trail which runs along the C&D canal between Chesapeake City and Delaware City.
