Welcome to our charming B&B with just one guest room. The spacious bedroom offers peace, comfort, and a relaxing stay. The house is surrounded by a well-kept garden with outdoor seating, a lounge area, and an outdoor fireplace. Enjoy views of the rolling Toggenburg hills and beautiful sunsets. The recently renovated bathroom is usually used exclusively by our guests during their stay. Two friendly dogs are also part of the welcome committee. The space The B&B is an ideal starting point for hiking, cycling, and e-bike tours in the beautiful Toggenburg region. Nearby attractions include the Maestrani Chocolate Factory, the Appenzeller Show Dairy in Stein, and the treetop walkway in Mogelsberg. In early summer and autumn, you can experience a unique Swiss tradition as cows are moved to the alpine pastures and back to the valley. With a little luck, you may wake up to the sound of cowbells or local farmers singing as they accompany their herds. A particularly special tradition takes place on December 31 and January 13, when the traditional Schellenschuppeln parade through the village of Bächli to bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new one. The impressive combination of ornate masks, traditional costumes, and the sound of large cowbells is one of the cultural highlights of the region. Guest access Guests have access to the bedroom, a recently renovated private bathroom, a guest toilet next to the bedroom, the dining room, and the garden. During your stay As I usually work from home, I am often available to answer questions, share local tips, or simply enjoy a friendly chat. At the same time, I fully respect your privacy if you prefer a more independent stay. Other things to note Please note that the Rössli restaurant and the village shop in Bächli are closed on Sundays. The bakery in Hemberg is open. Additional dining options are available at Restaurant Frohwies (approximately 1.5 km away) as well as in Hemberg and St. Peterzell.
