Pek Peku Beach House

The space Peku Peku, which means Barefoot, is located at Michamvi Kae, Zanzibar. This beach house has a comfortable bed and mosquito net. From the balcony you can enjoy the garden and the sea breeze. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and small sink. The water we use at the house comes from the well on our land. Peku Peku is suitable for couples as well as solo travellers. The beach and Indian Ocean are just 3 minutes away and some have described it as paradise. We clean the house after guests leave and make sure it is spotless before the next guest arrive. Guest access You have full access to the house and the garden and we have a communal area in the garden. The kitchen and appliances in the communal area are only to be used by the staff. If you come with your own (rental) car you can park in on the grounds inside the gate. Other things to note Michamvi Kae is quite remote. Paje beach is 20 minutes away but there is transport available. There are several local business and a local shop. Recently our corner of the world got easier access to an ATM as one has been set up in Paje. So no need to travel to Stonetown anymore where the nearest ATM was. Usually people accept Tanzanian Shilling, US dollars (only if they are printed after 2006) and Euro.
