5 Bedroom Cottage with Hot tub & Waterfront Dining

Be our guest at this recently renovated 5 bdrm waterfront cottage on a quiet lake on the Trent Severn Waterway. Only 90 mins from Toronto. There’s a campfire pit & a 4-6 seater hot tub. The stargazing from the boathouse is superb. Amenities include - waterfront - fire pit - lawn games - board games - bedding - high speed wifi - wood burning stove - 2 TVs - barbeque - 2 paddleboards - row boat - kayak - heat & AC - fully stocked kitchen, "take some, leave some" (bring your own food) The space Our favorite thing to do is dine under the shabby chic boathouse where we’ve put a full deck floor. Rain or shine indoor/outdoor waterfront dining is super cozy. It’s a big hit with our friends and family. If you prefer to sit in the sun there’s another good sized dock, and we have a deck with a jacuzzi overlooking the water attached to the house. **Please note, we have stained the exterior of the boathouse and haven't updated the photos yet** Our neighbors are lovely, but close by, so guests need to be mindful of that and keep the noise to a respectable level. Guest access Guests have access to all 5 bedrooms, 2 washrooms, family rooms upstairs and downstairs. There is a large front lawn and a smaller back yard, and off course the decks, docks and boathouse. We can offer two paddle boards and/or a row boat (no motor, must sign a release) Only some storage spaces are off limits: Two closets, the furnace room, and the boathouse attic. Other things to note Swimming off the dock has been done, but not always desirable as the lake is shallow and can be quite weedy at times. The water off our docks range from knee deep to waist deep. We can point you to several other deeper swim spots, either 5 min drive or 2 min paddle away. The water is filtered and tested regularly and safe to drink. There is also a 5-gallon jug with city water available, which can be refilled at the local home hardware store.
