Dog-friendly, there are miles of walking to be enjoyed with beautiful sandy beaches for waggy friends to explore. You are tucked away in this private and secluded spot on the owners’ farm, and there’s another shepherd's hut in a meadow nearby called Ynys Hideout (a handy Bolthole for two which can be booked separately). Bold canvasses hang on the walls; there’s plenty of comfortable seating, a large TV and a great fire effect wood stove. Leading off is a kitchen - fresh, spotless and well-equipped. With pretty patterned curtains and restful views, the dining space is a delicious place for lingering breakfasts. Two bedrooms have finely dressed beds and good storage. Next door, a smart bathroom is all you need to get you ready for the day. Walking from here is sublime, either at the coast or inland for hilly strolls. The cabin is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, you are right on Mynydd Mechell and the beach is a 40-minute walk away. Down at Moelfre is Ann’s Pantry for cake indulgence or the Beach Shop at Traeth Bychan for a hearty snack. Further along the coast is Red Wharf Bay, a firm favourite for many visitors to Anglesey. You must visit The Boathouse, a family-owned beachfront café and restaurant with a warm welcome. You could be out all day: foraging, walking, cycling and exploring. And when you return, do take time to listen and watch for owls… Summary - Colourful, cosy cabin sleeping up to 4 guests. Located next to the owner’s property but is private and quiet. Dog Friendly - Two well-behaved dogs welcome. There is an additional charge of £20 per dog, per stay. The garden is fenced. Please bear in mind that there will be livestock grazing in neighbouring fields. Suitability - Accommodation is on one level – steps up to the property. Bedrooms - Bedroom 1: double bed and plenty of storage. Bedroom 2: twin beds. Bathrooms - Family bathroom with shower, sink, WC and heated towel radiator. Kitchen - Gas hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer (two shelves), Tassimo coffee machine and cafetière. Washing machine, airer available and retractable clothesline outside, ironing board, iron and hoover. Dining table and seating for four. Living Room - Seating for 4, TV and fire effect gas wood stove. Outdoors - Small garden with sheep fencing and two gates. Secure for dogs but children may be able to open the gates. Seating for four with table and rural views and recliners. BBQ fire pit (kindling provided, guests need to purchase coal). Retractable clothesline for washing. There is livestock in the adjoining fields. Parking - An area dedicated to two cars is located right by the cabin. Please note that access to Easter cabin via an unadopted road. Please ask us for more information if you are concerned. Children - Travel cot (no bedding supplied) and high chair available on request. Wetsuits - Hanging outside. Biking - A shed can be made available for bikes (please bring your own locks) and there is a hosepipe in the shared yard area. WiFi - No Wifi. 4G signal is good. Mobile Reception Checker. Access to the cabin is via an unadopted road. 10 min drive to a good pub for eating. 5-minute drive to the local village and shop. Local beaches 10-minutes drive – Lligwy and Moelfre. The bus stop is a long distance away in Bryn Refail. Utilities - All utilities, linen and bath towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels. Oil fired radiators. No central heating. Constant hot water. No smoking.
