The space Welcome to Silver Birches, a beautifully presented two-bedroom ABI Beaumont lodge, named after the beautiful silver birch trees standing proudly in front of the lodge. Their graceful presence adds to the peaceful, natural setting and gives this special retreat its name. Inside, comfort, style and relaxation come together. The welcoming lounge offers comfortable sofas, attractive furnishings and a lovely space to relax, whether you're enjoying a quiet evening or spending time together. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay, including an integrated fridge freezer, oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a useful larder cupboard, providing plenty of additional storage. The master bedroom offers a comfortable king-size bed , while the second bedroom is furnished with twin beds. Both bedrooms have TVs, making it easy to enjoy a little downtime and privacy. Silver Birches benefits from two shower rooms: a spacious family shower room and a separate en-suite shower room to the master bedroom, offering extra comfort and convenience for guests. Fishing at Augusta Lake Approximately 100 metres away, Augusta Lake offers peaceful fishing in beautiful surroundings. Fish include carp, ghost carp, roach, rudd and golden tench, with some carp weighing up to 20lb (PAYABLE). Nature Trail & Wildlife The resort has been awarded the David Bellamy Conservation Gold Award and features a lovely nature trail, popular with dog walkers and nature lovers. Enjoy the wildflower meadow and look out for deer, foxes, woodpeckers, owls and a variety of other birds and wildlife. Picnic areas are also available throughout the grounds. There's also a good local pub nearby, The Five Bells. Long Sutton – Less than 10 minutes away Long Sutton has a 24-hour garage with a supermarket, opposite McDonald's and next to Benny's Diner (PE12 9AG). Larger Supermarkets – Wisbech For a bigger shopping trip, Wisbech has Morrisons, Asda and Tesco, with Tesco being the largest. All the major supermarkets offer grocery delivery to the area. TAKEAWAYS & FOOD DELIVERY There are several food delivery options available locally: Just Eat offers a good selection of restaurants. Foodhub can sometimes offer an even wider choice. Unfortunately, Deliveroo, Uber Eats, Domino's and Pizza Hut do not currently deliver to our area.
