There are buses a block away, to everything or everywhere you would like to go to. it is very easy to get into the city (Manhattan)from my home. Your options are taking one bus to the subway, which take you into the city (this the cheapest way) or walk 4 block to the Express bus, that takes you straight into the city (Manhattan) or take the bus/uber to the LIRR which take you into the city in 30-35mins.
