SunnyBreezes B&B in Stratton, ON
Description
Built in 2009, our earth sheltered, solar powered home is situated on 3 acres along the Rainy River. It's a great place to relax and unwind, view the wild life, watch the birds, sit by a camp fire etc. The space This is a two bedroom home. Ours is in the east end of the home while the guest room is in the west end, overlooking the river. The guest room has a queen size bed with an in room vanity. The adjoining 4 piece bathroom is reserved for guest use only. Let us know if you need sleeping arrangements for more than two and we can discuss the options. A hearty home cooked breakfast is included with your stay and the menu changes daily. Choices MAY include items such as eggs (fried, boiled, poached, scrambled, omelette, frittata), toast (usually with my homemade bread), pancakes, sausage, bacon, whole grain porridge, yogurt, with juice, tea, chai, coffee etc. Guest access When not in their bedroom, guests are welcome to relax in the living room, dining room, or kitchen. Our outdoor areas are also available for guest use. Whether in a lounge chair on the patio or at the picnic table under the big pine, there's plenty of space to unwind. We have a fire pit down by the river. With advance notice we can easily make it ready for guest use. Our internet is received via a canopy service and unfortunately is not very stable. When it is working, guests are welcome to use the WIFI to check their email. WIFI access information is available in the guest room. During your stay We are happy to take our lead from our guests. Our priority is that you find your stay comfortable and relaxing. Other things to note We have many modern conveniences (central vac, dishwasher, washer, microwave, toaster, hair dryer, Internet, satellite TV etc). However, AS WE LIVE ENTIRELY OFF THE GRID, we are very conscious of how and when we use electricity. "Conservation" and "Make hay while the sun shines!" are two rules we live by in our solar powered home.
