The Flag Ranch is a delightfully reimagined 1954 homestead cabin on 2 1/2 acres, marrying vintage Americana with modern design sensibilities, in the community of Landers. It offers long panoramic views of the Mojave Desert — including stunning sunsets from the large covered porch. The space The property is only 20 minutes to Pappy & Harriet’s, 25 minutes to the west entrance of Joshua Tree National Park and five minutes to the Integratron. Best of all, it is just one mile to the High Desert’s favorite restaurant — La Copine (featured in the New York Times, Vogue and Eater LA). Presided over by a World War I-era Old Glory flag, The Flag Ranch was designed by Doug Wiand Design (HGTV, House Hunter Renovation, etc.). Featured are two generously sized bedrooms, a large eat-in kitchen, and views from every room. Outside is a four-person Jacuzzi-brand hot tub, propane barbecue and propane fire pit. Guest access The property is yours to roam and relax, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Other things to note • Professionally managed by Hi-Desert Dwellings • CLEANING FEE As the top Professional Management Company in the area, we have always maintained exceptional cleaning standards and have been able to keep our rates low while still paying a living wage. 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests. Please note that the cleaning fee is two fees, the cleaning fee and the linen fee. The linen fee is actually an insurance fee but Airbnb makes us list it as “linen” that fee covers any accidental guest damage to the property as well as any guest injuries. More information about the added damage and liability insurance fee can be found in the house rules. • ROADS Please make sure to follow the directions so to avoid getting stuck in any sand pits. The roads to the property are all paved except for the last 2 city blocks are maintained dirt roads. • A/C & Heater The Flag Ranch is cooled and heated by mini splits in each room to keep you comfortable all year long. • BEDROOM FIREPLACE The bedroom fireplace is not operable and does not work. It cannot be used. • PETS We loves pets and are really happy they come, please see the house rules for additional information. We do recommend though that pets be supervised or preferably on a leash at all times when they are outside. There are coyotes, hawks, vultures and owls to name a few that hunt for food in the desert and we want everyone to have a safe and relaxing trip. • FIRE Due to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no outside wood burning fire policy. If it is discovered that you have started an outdoor wooden fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire means your rental agreement will be terminated and you will be asked to leave. • WASHER/DRYER HOUSE has a washer and dryer available to guests that are staying with us for an extended period of 3 or more days. If you are traveling with an infant or young children please let us know and we will give you access to the laundry room. • HOT TUB - legal Guest agrees to release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge Host and Host's employees, agents, successors and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities or causes of action of any kind that guest, members of guest's household or guest's guests or invitees may have at any time against Host or Host's agents resulting from guest's use of the pool and spa. • GUESTS You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests.
