We are 27 miles from Ted Steven’s Anchorage airport, nestled at the base of Bear Mountain over looking the Cook inlet & Mt Denali. This unique bedroom has a private bathroom with a custom walk in shower, located on the 3rd floor of our home; a small desk & office chair in the room, w/ a Mini-fridge & microwave, Wi-Fi & Ethernet connection, Smart TV & a private deck to enjoy the views; A washer & dryer available on the same floor; there is a dresser for your clothes and limited space for hanging. The space Our home is nestled on a hilltop overlooking the Cook Inlet and the mountain ranges that contain Sleeping Lady & Mt. Denali among others; our home is 3 stories and uniquely built; main house access is through a keypad lock on the front door and each room has a keypad access lock as well; we have a beautiful Golden Doodle that is extremely friendly, but can restrained to another part of the home if you don’t wish to interact with her. We have a Nespresso machine in the Kitchen for the coffee lovers and you can use the kitchen if you desire; we have spices and seasonings as well as the basic condiments in the fridge (mayo, ketchup, mustard, bbq sauce etc) There is a small amount of designated dry space in the kitchen as well as a designated shelf in the main fridge if you have more than will fit in your rooms mini-fridge. Guest access Along with your private room, you’ll have access to the other common areas in our home, the kitchen, dining room, living room as well as the family room & home gym downstairs; the gym equipment is for adults only or under strict parental supervision. The backyard is fenced and we have slides off the deck if you’re adventurous. The back deck is large enough to accommodate modest social gatherings (with approval) During your stay My wife & I are home most of the time and are usually available if you need anything; if we are out or late in the evenings a text message can suffice to answer most questions. You can interact with us as much or as little as you wish. Our hope is that you will find your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Other things to note We are not far from a small bush plane airport and a rifle range; you will occasionally hear small airplanes about and sometimes you can hear the range; there is a 3 Bears grocery store (like a Publix, Kroger, Safeway etc.) conveniently located right off the highway exit and there is a Shell Gas station there as well. *Additional single floor mattress available upon request.* Registration Details STR20260896
