Description

The Sedona Guest House, built in 2018, is conveniently located in West Sedona on a quiet street with gorgeous views. It’s nearby trails and walking distance to markets, coffee, movie theaters, restaurants and more. The ideal spot for enjoying Sedona! It's modern, private and eco-friendly with organic amenities. We live on the property in the main house with our two children so one of us is usually available to help with any needs that arise or provide helpful tips to enhance your stay! The space Our beautiful Sedona Guest House is in the heart of Sedona. The high ceilings and tall sliding glass doors offer breathtaking views of the red rocks. It is 505 sq feet and is light, bright, modern, and private. Wifi, DVD, Smart TV/NO cable, W/D, organic coffee, toiletries and more. There is also a Red Rock parking pass you may use during your stay. It can be used for entry al all trailheads, including West Fork Canyon, Grasshopper Point, and Crescent Moon Park. The bedroom is completely separate from the living room and has a queen bed and a lovely reading chair by the window. The main living area has the TV and a chaise sofa (that pulls out to become a queen sleeper. A mattress pad, extra pillows, sheets amd blankets are stored under the chaise section ). The kitchen is fully equipped, including a reverse osmosis filtered water system. The linens are all organic and we only use non-toxic, natural cleaning products and laundry detergent. There is a washer and dryer for your use and an outdoor storage area (not covered) for your bikes or other gear. There is also an air purifier that can remain on or be turned off if you prefer. The private patio is an ideal place to greet the rising sun and to watch the rim glow with the setting sun. It's also a great spot to enjoy the moon lit silhouette of the red rocks! Guest access You get your own private Sedona retreat space in our guest house. This is your home while you're here and you’ll have full access to everything in the Guest House. The patio is shared but is divided into two separate private sides. There is one designated parking space with additional space if needed. Out your front door and down our quiet street you can walk to the 'main strip' (89A) in minutes. There you'll find shops, restaurants, spas, movie theaters, gyms and yoga studios. You can walk to the farmer's market on Sundays from October-May. Safeway grocery store is about a 5 minute walk and Natural Grocers is about 10 (and even less by bike). Whole Foods is a little further down the road (0.9 miles); maybe 15-20 minutes on foot. Sunset park is 0.8 miles down the street--a wonderful park for kids and an access point for many beautiful hiking/biking/running trails. Despite the name though we wouldn't recommend trying to catch a sunset there...for that it'd be worth the hike or drive up to airport mesa. We live on the north side of 89A so the well known Thunder Mountain and Coffee Pot rock (viewed from your patio) and their many miles of connected trails are just a short drive or ride up the road. While we love to hike we also enjoy how easily we can just walk 'into town' to eat at our favorite restaurants; get great smoothies or juice at LOCAL juicery (a locally owned cold-pressed organic juicery); or to work out, spin, or take a yoga class (on those days when indoor exercise is preferred). We’re also walking distance from the Sedona Film Festival! Other things to note Our Guest house shares one wall with a 2nd unit that is currently occupied by a long term renter. We have built a sound dampening insulated wall that helps contain any noise. We ask both parties to understand the potential to hear noise through the wall and to respectfully keep noise to a minimum early in the AM and later in the night. We don't offer cable TV however there is a smart TV with an Amazon fire stick and Netflix (if you have your own accounts) as well as an HDMI cord to hook a computer up for TV viewing. We also provide a DVD player and a small handful of DVD movies.
