And only one hour from Atlanta! Cabin Modern studio cabin in the North Georgia mountains! Enjoy outdoor luxuries including second-story hot tub, hammock built right into the deck, outdoor double-showers, and gas fire pit, all boasting a million-dollar view without a building in sight. Refresh yourself indoors with tons of natural light, vaulted beamed ceilings, and mid-century decor. Top your night off watching your favorite show on our 100-inch projector screen equipped with wireless streaming. Nature Indulge in nature while enjoying modern amenities. This luxury alpine cabin boasts the best of both worlds- the property borders a national forest, and is only minutes from wineries, hiking trails, waterfalls, and downtown Dahlonega (the gold capital of the south!). Privacy The cabin was designed with privacy in mind. The 2,000-foot driveway takes you up and away from the bustle of the roads. There are no other structures visible from the cabin throughout most of the year, and minimal structures visible in winter. Additionally, we have blackout blinds on all main room windows and doors for added privacy. You can even slide the outside barn door shut on the deck and lock it. We have a second cabin 200 feet away from this one in the woods but the terrain lends a sense of seclusion. The cabins are slightly more visible in the winter months, but again you'll feel that sense of seclusion with the privacy amenities built into each cabin. Other things to note Local Recommendations Walk around the Dahlonega town square. A charming town square that has been used as a film set for several movies. 10-minute drive. Lots of shops and restaurants. • Our favorite winery is Wolf Mountain. 5-minute drive with the best views. • Our favorite Spa is Mountain Laurel Creek Inn & Spa. 5-minute drive. • Our favorite restaurant is Montaluce Vineyard. 20-minute drive. Fancy and open every day for lunch and dinner. Walk through the vineyard after dinner. • Our favorite hike is Preacher's Rock. 20-minute drive. House Rules 1) No pets 2) No smoking inside the cabin 3) No children under the age of 8 years old, except for infants that are not mobile 4) No events/parties (Two guests maximum) 5) Check-in after 4:00 PM (unless you have arranged for an early check-in of 2pm) 6) Checkout before 11:00 AM (unless you have arranged for a late checkout of 1pm) Pricing Nightly rates vary based on specific dates. Weekends are priced higher. Single Night Stays Single-night stays are automatically made available when adjacent to a previously booked night. Otherwise, a two-night minimum is required. Early Check-in + Late Checkout We offer both early check-in (2 pm) and late checkout (1 pm) add-ons for $50. The amount is limited, though, depending on the date. Please message us to add it to your reservation. Outdoor Shower The outdoor showers stay on throughout the winter and are only turned off if the temperature dips below 27 degrees, which is rare. License Short Term Rental License Number: STR-22-0035 Security Camera There is one security camera at the property's entrance gate facing toward the main road. Liability Waiver After booking, you will be asked to complete a Release of Liability Waiver. The waiver is a standard step we ask all guests to take, and it helps us continue offering unique stays in a natural setting.
