Cozy cabin near the lake, mountain and fjord views.

Location on Skredestranda, about 3.5 km from Årvik ferry dock, in a quiet and peaceful area. Here you can relax and recharge your batteries. You may be lucky to see a flock of sperm whales in the fjord, or see eagles and deer. Rovdefjorden is a busy fjord for both large and small boats, as well as cruise ships on their way to/from Geiranger. The cabin is located 20 m from the lake, where there are good fishing opportunities (rod). Steep rocks and shallow depths. We have life jackets available. The space The cabin is about 60 sqm divided into 2 floors. Steep internal staircase to the basement, but external staircase can be used. 2 bedrooms with double bed (120cm). Bathroom with toilet, shower and washing machine. Fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, etc. Freezer in the basement. Dining area and living room with TV. Wi-Fi. Electric heating and wood stove. Fenced outdoor area and garden. Site with fire pit and covered dining area with heating. Dining/seating area on the porch with panoramic views of Rovdefjorden and towards Vanylvsfjella. Gas grill available. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin area, outside and inside, except for a locked storage room that is marked. Parking by the cabin. Other things to note There are great opportunities for mountain hiking in nearby mountains (Stikk ut). The radio station Frey, or "Kåken", from the 2nd World War II is located in the mountainside high above Oksavika, about 500m from the cabin. The cabin is also a good starting point for day trips by car to, among other places, Stadtlandet, Sandsøy (Dollsteinhola), Runde (Fuglefjellet), Fosnavåg, Ulsteinvik, Jugendbyen Ålesund, Geiranger, Loen (Skylift) and Styn. The nearest town is the municipal center Larsnes, where there is a doctor, bank, shop and gas station. Ferry to Sandsøy and Kvamsøy. Upon departure, the following is requested from guests: garbage in the garbage can outside, start the dishwasher, remove bed linen and place on the floor. The host will do the dishes.
