Located on Skredestranda, about 3.5 km from Årvik ferry dock, in one quiet and peaceful area. Here you can relax and recharge. You might be lucky to see a flock of orcas in the fjord, or see eagles and deer. Rovdefjorden is a busy fjord for both big and small boats, also cruise ships going to/from Geiranger. The cottage is 20 m from the sea, there are good fishing opportunities (rod). Steep swamps and proximity. We have life jackets available The space The cottage is about 60 sqm spread over 2 floors. Steep interior staircase to basement, but exterior staircase can be used. 2 bedrooms with double bed (120cm). Bathroom with toilet, shower and laundry machine. Fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, fridge, cooker, microwave, coffee maker etc. Freezer in basement hallway. Dining area and living room with TV. Wifi. Electric heating and wood stove. Fenced outdoor area and garden. Floating with a fire pit and covered dining area with warmth. Eat/sit on the porch with panoramic views of Rovdefjorden and for Vanylvsfjella. Gas grill for your disposal. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin area, outside and inside, except for a locked storage room that is marked. Parking by the cabin. Other things to note There are great opportunities for mountain hiking in nearby mountains (stand out). The radio station Frey, or "Kåken", from 2. World War II is located in the mountainside high above Oksavika, about 500m from the Cabin. The cabin is also a good starting point for day trips by car to Stadtlandet, Sandsøy (Dollsteinhola), Runde (Fuglefjellet), Fosnavåg, Ulsteinvik, Jugendbyen Ålesund, Geiranger, Loen (Skylift) and Styn. The next village is the Municipal Center Larsnes, where there is a doctor, bank, store and gas station. Ferry to Sandsøy and Kvamsøy. Upon departure, the following are welcome by guests: garbage in garbage can outside, put on dishes, remove bed linens and put them on the floor. Hosting takes care of the cleaning.
