Guest suite in San Luis Obispo

Gorgeous hideaway nestled in a quiet neighborhood within San Luis Obispo city limits. Scenic views, easy access to hiking trails, nearby shopping and public transportation. This private living space comes with a beautiful patio and yard where you can relax the day away. Small details add to the charm of the space. Lic. #: 115760 The space Quaint fruit and vegetable gardens adorn the outdoor space, as well as drought-tolerant, butterfly- and hummingbird-friendly plants. Our yard is frequented by lizards, butterflies, caterpillars, hummingbirds, and occasionally deer, turkeys, owls and foxes! Many nights, you can hear frogs in the nearby creek. A cozy firepit is available for use with host set-up. We have a large area of artificial turf (to maintain a beautiful, water-wise space), as well as a Bocce Ball court and more drought-tolerant plants! The room is complete with a large work-space with views of the mountains, as well as a cozy sitting nook with eclectic side tables. The bathroom features a shower and a full tub for your soaking enjoyment, and a blow dryer is provided to help you get ready. A full length mirror is provided on the bathroom door. We have a steamer to get the wrinkles out from your travels. Plenty of books adorn the built-in bookshelf for your perusal. The kitchenette comes with a mini fridge/separate freezer combo, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, toaster oven, and microwave. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, bottled water and light refreshments will be available for our guests. The suite is located under our main house and requires the ability to navigate a flight of outdoor stairs with no handrail. You will have your own, private entrance to the space and will not have access to the rest of the house. The hosts live in the attached main house above the AirBnB studio. We have 2 young children and a well-behaved dog (that will not have access to the guest area during your visit). We strive to minimize our noise interference during your stay, but please note that you will hear occasional footsteps and voices. If needed, we have provided a sound machine to buffer noise from the main house. Guest access The suite is a studio-type set up with kitchenette and en suite full bathroom. The guests will have full access to the private, outdoor patio and newly-landscaped backyard. Parking will be in the driveway on the left side, or on the street directly in front of the main house for more than one vehicle (in an attempt to minimize the burden on our neighbors). The house manual will help you discover how to use various components of the room, as well as provide local information on shopping, restaurants, wineries, etc.
