Cosy cottage in the heart of Westleton
Cosy cottage in the heart of Westleton
Description
Perfect for a break in the Suffolk countryside and conveniently located just off the A12 between Southwold and Aldeburgh. Our cottage is in an ideal location in the lovely village of Westleton which has The Crown pub at the end of the road, a shop, tea room, duck pond, play area, and village green. Westleton common is ideal for dog walking and has been designated a dark sky site. We’re a short drive to the beaches of Dunwich, Thorpeness and Walberswick and on the doorstep of RSPB Minsmere. The space A step up to the front door leads into the sitting room which has plenty of comfortable seating, a log burning stove, tv with free view and DVD player. There is a step into the fully equipped kitchen. The dining area has French doors opening onto the quiet, fully enclosed garden which has a patio and grassed area ideal for relaxing or barbecues. The main bedroom with en-suite shower room and the main bathroom are located on the ground floor. The other 2 bedrooms are upstairs. There are books, board games, jigsaws and dvds for use during your stay. There is plenty of free parking in the village. Guest access Guests will have full sole use of the house and garden. There is one locked bedroom cupboard for owners use. Other things to note The third bedroom has 2 single beds which are 2 feet 6 inches wide and is accessed through the second bedroom. The second bedroom is a landing bedroom with direct access to the stairs. The bed is a small double. Please note that some of the doorways are very low as is typical in an older cottage so if you’re tall you may need to duck. The stairs are quite steep but there is a handrail.
