It’s all about enjoying the outdoors in your private oasis set in the wonderful little town of Fairfax in Marin County, California. The space Our light filled home has a wonderful indoor outdoor flow. It’s an ideal place for friends to gather and for families to unwind. Enjoy the Mount tam view while dining al fresco on our long deck. The heated pool is just warm enough to be comfortable and has a shallow end with steps. Make sure to note the ledge at the deep end before jumping in! Inside is three bedrooms and two bathrooms and can comfortably sleep 6. There is a guest room outside with 2 twin beds, it’s own separate entrance and it’s own bathroom. We have a bonus office "shed" in the backyard. The kitchen opens up to living and dining spaces is fully stocked with everything you will need. The dining table seats up to 8. Bedding, towels, shower gel, hair dryer are provided. We have enclosed the laundry area within our garage and provide laundry soap, iron, ironing board. We also have wifi, and plenty of parking. The TV in the living room is a smart TV with all of the standard TV apps (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video). Our home has heating and a/c. The location of our home is ideal to walk to the cute little shops and excellent restaurants in town. As the birthplace of mountainbiking, Fairfax is home to the best hiking and mountain biking trails around and is less than an hours drive to the wine country, Stinson beach, Bolinas, Muir beach, Point Reyes, Inverness, Muir Woods, and San Francisco. We have some bikes that we can provide and just ask that they are locked up with the provided bike lock. There is so much in our backyard and we love to help people plan their itineraries. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you want some advice. My husband and I have raised our two girls here. It's an excellent home for families and for entertaining. We still live in town and are close by if you should need anything at all. Our home is in a peaceful and quiet location. Don’t be surprised by the quiet at night, the deer roaming the neighborhood, the squirrels running across the deck, and the occasional howl of the coyotes at night! Other things to note This is NOT a party house and guest must have permission to throw an event. If violated guests WILL be asked to leave. We love our neighbors! Quiet hours are after 10 pm.
