Visit our quaint, vintage cottages to relax with loved ones or for a quick escape, in this treasured, picturesque beach town! Pelican’s Rest is located in Jensen Beach, also known as the “Pineapple Capitol of the World” and offers a beautiful view of the inter-coastal waterway. The space Our free-standing cottages are located on the same property; each with a private entrance and driveway for your comfort and convenience. Just across the two-lane street is our 100+ foot private dock and beach area that can be used for fishing, enjoying your morning coffee with the sunrise, or docking your boat! (Water depth at end of dock is 3ft on average). Downtown Jensen, with its many restaurants and shops, is only a 5 minute walk or bicycle ride and the Publix shopping plaza, as well as the laundromat, are just a 5 minute drive south. Beaches and boat ramps are less than a 10 minute drive away! A local favorite- Snook Nook Bait & Tackle Shop- is just across the street. Jammin’ Jensen is a Thursday tradition downtown and offers live music along the main street! Travelers from everywhere love the Jensen Beach area for its fishing, beaches, shops, local artists and food venues. Our Sweet Memories Cottage offers a full kitchen, dining table, family room with TV, and bathroom. The sleeper sofa can accommodate two extra guests. It also has a large private bedroom with a queen bed and desk. The cottage has a patio area with table and chairs for enjoying the outdoors. It also has a view of the inter-coastal from the front steps. A set of beach chairs and towels are also included! The cottages’ convenient downtown location doesn’t come without its quirks- the occasional train that passes along the west side of the property may surprise you the first time you hear it, but you might agree…it becomes one of the properties unique and lasting charms. Guest access Enjoy a boat ride or a trip to the sandbar with Captain Tyler on his 19’ Pathfinder. Jensen Beach, Stuart and Jupiter have some of the prettiest sandbars and crystal clear waters to enjoy on your vacation! Our available bookings start in September and we can make your reservation for any of the following months. Each boat ride can include a total of 4 in your party. Feel free to reach out to us with questions regarding details and pricing for our personalized boat rides coinciding with your trip dates. We want you to love the water as much as we do! Other things to note Each cottage has comfortable bedding and linens along with the essentials you will need for your stay. We will do what we can to accommodate any needs you may have to make your stay more comfortable. A bedding set and blanket are also included for the sleeper sofa. Up to two dogs are welcome per stay.
