Winter amenities: skiing at Jack Frost slopes 5 minutes away, snowboarding, tubing, and more, Year around: visit the historical sites of Stroudsburg & Jim Thorpe restaurants & Shopping malls The space There are two bedrooms, additional quilts, games, ironing board and iron, fans and hamper are available for your use in their closets. Please put everything back except for the quilts so we can have them washed when you’re done. We have one full bathroom between the two bedrooms and one half bath as you come in to the unit. In the living room there is a fireplace, we encourage you to bring fire logs so that you can light with your own matches, or you can bring your own firewood and enjoy the ambience. We leave that totally up to you. The dining room seats six with a view through the sliding doors overlooking the large pond in the backyard which has a waterspring shooting up in the middle of the pond. A definite wonderful touch or a relaxing time. There is a sofa bed in the living room that can sleep one or two, in addition there are several lamps and a ceiling fan controlled by separate light switches. There is a full kitchen with appliances, Along with a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher on the side of the sink. In the dining room there is a sliding door that leads to the outside rear deck overlooking the large pond beautiful view. There is no cooking allowed outside beyond the deck or campfires permitted by management since it is a fire hazard. Please use careful safety discretion when using the fireplace Close the screen and glass in the fireplace to assure anything from falling out onto the floor. If management is called and comes to your location it will be brought to our attention and management will have to carry out any procedures necessary. Let’s avoid anything going in that direction by following the rules and your time there will be nothing but pleasant and rewarding. In the winter months the unit will be at a minimum of 45° setting in the thermostat setting throughout the entire unit. As soon as you arrive please increase the temperature on all the thermostats to accommodate your needs in all the rooms that you desire. Before you leave please bring down the thermostat temperature settings back to 45°. Please Remove your garbage bag from the kitchen Garbage can and put it outside in the closet next to the entrance door where there is a Metal garbage can. When exiting on the day of your check out, please make sure the front door is locked and shut.
