The Annexe - luxury garden studio

Nestled in beautiful gardens & equipped with first class amenities, "The Annexe" is located on Canberra's premier street, in the heart of Old Canberra. Beautifully decorated, close to Parliament House and other tourist attractions, it is the perfect place for a luxurious yet peaceful getaway. The space The Annexe is luxuriously decorated with antiques and memorabilia and has top quality amenities. It is set in a beautiful old fashioned garden - camellias, azaleas, magnolia, daphne. There is your own secluded deck with chairs and table from which to enjoy it - and the resident bird life. Views from every window and a barrel vault with remote control blind makes the space incredibly light and airy. There is a private entrance with keyless entry and off street parking in your own driveway. Fresh flowers and a fruit bowl greet you on arrival. The new luxury queen size bed has premium Australian made Abode cotton sheets and a feather topper and you can pamper yourself with Australian made, organic toiletries in the walk-in rain shower. Under floor heating, air conditioning & reverse cycle heating ensure you are always perfectly comfortable. The kitchenette is equipped with a Nespresso machine and coffee pods, an assortment of T2 tea, bar fridge, microwave, toaster & kettle (NO cooktop or oven) and you also have available a hair dryer, iron & ironing board. Enjoy free broadband internet with wi-fi access or lie back in bed to watch the Samsung 43" Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV with Foxtel Plus including Netflix. On request we can provide access to a laundry (washing machine) and clothing drying rack. Guest access Guests have a private entrance & security system. The Annexe is 60m2 of luxury comprising 4 indoor areas: seating, dining/desk, kitchenette and sleeping. There is an ensuite and a walk-in wardrobe. There are 2 private outdoor areas - the deck with outdoor dining and The Lady Fountain terrace. Other things to note We have two German Shepherds who do not have access to any of The Annexe facilities - outdoor or indoor - but may be seen in the back garden (which is secured from the Annexe). Yes, we are pet friendly ( generally a maximum of 2 dogs) and as per our Airbnb description and pets are welcome inside with their owners (of course all the usual things about house trained, no furniture surfing , carpet cleaning at guests cost if any accidents etc!). There is a 2m x 2m indoor space, with tiled floor and in-slab heating, where our canine visitors can stay for short periods (maybe an hour or two) provided they are not distressed to be left alone. However there is no place to leave them for extended periods and no fenced yard. We keep our dogs separate from our AirBnb guests to avoid any potential of "tears in the playground!" The gardens are filled with a continuous parade of native birds, there are possums in the surrounding trees and kangaroos literally at the back gate.
