Springbank Lodge, Brae Shetland Isles

Hi, we're Gordon and Jayne and we live on our small croft at the Sparl and 2 bedroom Springbank Lodge is sited near our home. It's a cosy, modern timber-clad dwelling with full underfloor heating; a spacious kitchen/dining space which has a microwave, oven, dishwasher and large fridge/freezer. The living room has an excellent view over the surrounding waters of Busta Voe. The bustling village of Brae is a short walk away and it has plenty of cafes & eating options should you choose them. The space This purpose built accommodation is ideal as a base for exploring the north of the Shetland Isles. Your location 7 miles from the links to the Yell and Unst ferry, 12 miles from the cliff face of Eshaness, and 3 from the Red Sandstone of Muckle Roe. We live on a working croft, Blueshell mussels operate nearby and Brae is just a short walk away with it's Leisure Centre (pool/squash court/steam room) and various restaurants and bars. There is a Chinese takeaway, well stocked Co-operative supermarket and the local garage has a wide range of local products from the nearby Voe bakery and other local outlets. Guest access You have access to the whole building. we live 80 yards away so will be on hand for anything you are unsure about. We will have the essentials ready for you such as bread, rolls milk and eggs I.e. a small 'welcome' pack. Other things to note You will be well advised to have a car to travel around with. The local Co-op is well stocked and opens 0600 to 2200x
